Roche Molecular Diagnostics is a diagnostic and pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets innovative medicines.

The design for the new research building establishes a strong
connection between research and development, serving as a link
between the existing development and pilot manufacturing groups in
the adjacent buildings.

The building has 85,000 sf of research laboratories and associated
offices and 42,000 sf of general office space on the third floor that
allows for projected growth through 2011. The large open lab areas are designed to facilitate collaboration and generate a cross pollination of scientific ideas. With two stories of curved glass, the daylight filled 145 seat full service cafeteria serves as a central meeting space for the campus, and services the 200 seat flexible seminar space.
