Sony Computer Entertainment America's (SCEA) goal for this build-out was to create a high energy, functional and flexible work environment that reflects Sony’s products and brand. DES worked with SCEA in building out over 250,000 sf in project sizes that ranged from 2,500 sf to 40,000 sf.
To create dimension in the ceiling plane, a mixture of materials and treatments was used to define areas, create interest, and create volume. Color and textural materials were used to define public and client spaces. Varying light levels between circulation spaces and work areas created interest at the core and drama along hallways.
