Associate Principal

Jana Gunsul, IIDA, LEED AP, leads the Interiors Group. Her twenty-three years of experience as designer, mentor, manager, and mediator have given her a unique perspective on the opportunities of creating meaningful workplaces.

Her commitment to clients and the community have led her to be actively involved in sustainable design programs, including Chair of DES Green and IIDA's Sustaining Edge. Jana is a member of the International Interior Design Association and International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Architecture at the University of Oregon in Eugene. Jana joined DES in 1993.
