Melanie Rogers, Director of Human Resources, has been a part of the DES management team since 1998. With over 25 years of experience in HR and Operations Management, Melanie is dedicated to creating and maintaining a positive company culture. Under her direction, DES has developed into an engaging and empowering place to work, featuring career and professional development, wellness programs and opportunities for community outreach and volunteering. The DES Fitness Factor, is consistently given recognition and awards on the local, state and national levels.

Melanie is very active in the local community, and presently serves as an Executive Board Member of the Peninsula Stroke Association.  She has served on the board of the Sutter Health Hospice Foundation Board and as a Human Resource advisor to the American Council of Engineering Companies.  She is an active member of the Northern California Human Resources Assn., EDD Advisory Council, Redwood City and Foster City Chamber of Commerce and a 1999 Graduate of the Chamber’s San Mateo/Foster City/Burlingame Leadership Group.  She was named 2009 Business Woman of the Year by the Redwood City/San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce.
