Principal

Susan Eschweiler, AIA, leads the Life Sciences and Interiors Group. As a licensed architect and certified interior designer, her focus is on the creation of communities whether they are multiple building campuses, school campuses, or interior communities.

She has served on the San Mateo County Chapter American Institute of Architects Board of Directors and the City of Palo Alto's Architectural Review Board, and is currently serving on the Planning Review Committee for the Palo Alto Unified School District Building for Excellence Program. Susan earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. Susan joined DES in 1981.
