REDWOOD CITY, California—September 18, 2013—DES Architects + Engineers, Inc. (DES) announced leadership promotions to three dedicated employees whose steadfast contributions have been recognized as a sustainable competitive advantage.
Dawn Jedkins and Tracy Wong were recently promoted to Senior Associates. As Senior Designer, Dawn specializes in navigating the entitlement process for large-scale projects. Her work is highlighted by the award-winning Moffett Towers project in Sunnyvale and well-integrated 265 Lytton project in downtown Palo Alto. As Project Manager, Tracy skillfully manages projects from inception to occupancy — consistently completing challenging projects within budget and on schedule. Further, Tracy’s personable nature has led to many responsibilities beyond project management; he manages DES’ internal staffing and is a key contributor to DES’ thriving wellness program.
Erica Lee was promoted to an Associate. As a Project Manager, Erica Lee has coordinated many large, high-tech projects with devoted attention. Her strength is in the delivery of intricate projects including Nokia’s 197,000-sf R&D building in San Diego and Bluebeam Software’s headquarter relocation.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating the promotions of these four devoted employees,” said Thomas Gilman, DES’ President. “Providing best-in-class design services continues to be our main focus, and with top-notch team members, we can deliver on that goal.”
With great employees and a strong team atmosphere, DES continues to design inspiring projects throughout the Bay Area and is looking forward to more exceptional projects to come.
