The new Performing Arts Center and Euphrates Museum is an architectural landmark on campus, breaking away from the established surrounding mission-style buildings. During the process of stakeholder involvement, the design evolved into a “building of the arts,” creating a clear, individual identity while maintaining unity with the rest of the campus through connectivity and shared common space. The center fully serves the campus’ theatrical and performance programs with a 400-seat performance hall, control rooms, box office, and dressing rooms. The museum displays both student and professional work in large exhibition spaces. Green features include high-performance glazing, efficient energy systems, and eco-friendly finishes.
